South Side Sox Poll
Ok, thanks guys for liking these, I am going to make more of them. Todays poll, will be about the White Sox organization goal this year.
Do you think that the Sox are going to totally rebuild this year, or do you think they will go for the playoffs and buy players. Anything is possible this season, the Sox have a team thats above normal in the A.L Central this season, so todays poll.

Sorry, I forgot to add another option.
It was going to be slowly get rid of big contract players while getting some minor league talent.

When do you think they'll implement that option?

It's kinda like
The same mindset that Kenny Williams is showing. But, this would be a little different. While kenny Williams goes and trades vasquez and boone for 5 prospects, then two seasons ago, they traded 3 very good guys for Swisher. This is were they will trade somone like Thome, get 3-4 prospects, and then maybe a month later they trade 2 of those prospects for someone like J.J. Putz. Then over the course of the season sign free agents and trade and work with those players. Its kind of like weeling and dealing.

I think...
Kenny has always wanted to shoot for the playoffs while rebuilding his farm system. It’s a great theory in practice, especially if you can pull it off. But it doesn’t seem easy. Not to me, at least.
So I see him staying the course. Never going full out rebuilding, and never completely trashing the minor league rosters.
That’s why we still have Thome and Dye on the roster, and why we also traded Vasquez for prospects. It’s a little bit of both.
