White Sox Spring Training Broadcast Schedule
The White Sox open spring training games tomorrow. And since I had trouble finding their radio broadcast schedule, I figured I wasn't the only one. Thanks to doorpeep, I've printed it after the jump.

Do the Spring Training games on MLB.TV require a subscription? Or are they free in order to entice you to sign up?
by Steven Andrew Miller on Feb 24, 2009 8:40 PM CST reply actions
The answer is yes
In the past they’ve done a select number of games for free, but that might amount to one or two Sox games all spring. So you’ll have to sign up to get most of ’em

White Sox's Contreras, Colon set to pitch March 14
The script is becoming more defined as Jose Contreras and Bartolo Colon make significant progress toward rejoining the White Sox’s starting rotation.
The two right-handers are on schedule to pitch in a game as soon as March 14, provided they continue to recover from injuries. Contreras is recovering from a torn left Achilles’ tendon. Colon had bone chips removed from his right arm last fall.
Colon has been able to throw long toss, and he and Contreras are scheduled to throw off a mound Monday.

there was footage of him fielding the ball on the mound last night while i was on my barcrawl
and fitting enough, the last barcrawl was the day of game 163 and sure enough when we got to the first bar from the last trip, i look up and the first thing i saw was the griffey assist and the thome home run
But Frank Thomas was always his own guy, he always lived by some sort of code that wasn’t especially clear to anyone but him.
why sabermaticians don't make the lineup.
“You want a balanced lineup, [Nos.] 1 through 9,” said Pierzynski, who will bat second Wednesday. “When I went to second, [Orlando] Cabrera moved to the leadoff spot and put Swisher out of leadoff, where he didn’t want to hit. It was painfully obvious he didn’t want to hit up there. It was a bunch of things.”

"I asked the elders at the church to lay hands on me. I haven’t really thought about it. It’s all about gum and sunflower seeds now. Prayer works."
I love how Walker omits "drawing walks" as one of those things leadoff hitters need to do
"We also understand that [general manager] Kenny Williams’ hands are somewhat tied because there’s such a demand for leadoff hitters. Guys who can do it all — hit, work counts, hit for power, steal bases when you need them, hit-and-run, play small ball — those guys are at a premium and are hard to find.

By Mark Gonzales
TEMPE, Ariz. — The White Sox announced they have agreed to terms with their remaining 22 unsigned players.
Those players had less than three years of service time and weren’t eligible for salary arbitration. Among the more notable players signed were 17-game winner Gavin Floyd, slugger Carlos Quentin, left-hander John Danks, reliever D.J. Carrasco and outfielder Brian Anderson.
All five players could be eligible for salary arbitration next year.
