Obama Unlikely to Throw Out First Pitch on Opening Day
As much as President Barack Obama would like to be at Chicago's U.S. Cellular Field on April 6, it seems unlikely that the First Fan will be there for the home season opener against the Kansas City Royals.
On that day, Obama is now expected to be in Istanbul, Turkey, making the visit to an overwhelmingly Muslim country that he has promised during the early days of his administration.

I think it would be cooler if he threw out the first pitch on April 10th against the Twins.
With being a Friday Night, it would be cool if we did the “Blackout” like the play-offs. First Fan, first Friday Night game, first game against the Twins…it would be too perfect.
Then again, I’m sure the stock market will crash or something, causing him to stay in DC. I’m sure he’ll throw out the first pitch one of these days.

Confusion breeds success. If they don't know each other, opponents can't have strategy. GENIUS.

Rec'd.
And my visa is now up to date. Following the Alec Baldwin caravan out of the country. (He’s a bit behind, since he said he was leaving after Bush’s re-election.)

They are more “conservative” economically than we are.
