i debated whether or not to watch that
as it turned out, laziness prevailed and i didnt care. still, i might start watching at some point. i didnt start watching LOST until 2 weeks prior to season 4. BEST 2 weeks of my life.

yup
i watched strictly for ian mcshane, and he’s delivered, but it has more than just him going for it. several other excellent actors, great production values and direction, cool worldbuilding, and it’ll be cool to see how they work within the biblical parallel. definitely enjoying the epic feel so far. and if brian cox pops up every now and again, all the better.
it's fun to watch for all the reasons you mention

That was an awesome game last night...so much greatness.

But I liked the helmet-busting head-first dive best of all.Looked like the ump missed a few calls,but all in all, a great game to watch.

The helmet breaking was awesome- the whole game was awesome, really. Made me so pumped to watch "real" baseball.
And yes, yesterday marked the two-week countdown. I started counting down January 1st – have the days marked off on my calendar…..fiiiiinnnnaaaallllyyyyyyyyyyy!
