The White Sox optioned pitcher Jeff Marquez to Triple-A Charlotte. Marquez started the spring as a potential starter. Outfielder Josh Kroeger and pitcher Randy Williams were reassigned to minor league camp, and pitchers Lance Broadway and Jack Egbert were optioned to Charlotte. Infielder Jayson Nix was placed on the disabled list, retroactive to March 17.
