The White Sox will do everything they can to welcome back Joe Crede with open arms before tonight's game against the Minnesota Twins: video tribute, news conference, standing ovations -- the whole red-carpet treatment.
After that, however, the mission is to make the former Sox third baseman's weekend as uncomfortable as possible.

Fields had been the White Sox’s hottest hitter in the first three games with a .429 average.Of course, he is playing third base this season after Joe Crede was not re-signed. Crede is now with the Twins.
