Mike MacDougal Released

The White Sox requested waivers on embattled reliever Mike MacDougal for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release.
MacDougal was designated for assignment on April 21. MacDougal is guaranteed $3 million. The move was announced during the third inning of the Sox's game with Seattle.
