I just saw that I now have MLB in HD... yes glorious HD on Comcast channel 233. Why didn't anyone tell me? When did this happen? Here I've been watching MLB in low res all this time - felt like I should have rabbit ears on the set with foil, no remote, and a mechanical dial to change channels!

(You direct TV users don't need to brag how you've had it all along!)

oh glorious day!

I think it just happened this week. I had been avoiding watching mlb anywhere but the tube in the bedroom — I hate SD on the hdtv!

Been around for a while

I believe their has been an HD channel in the high 300s or 400s for a while. Not sure if you needed the sports package to see that one. The channel is pretty awesome – the baseball season is tailor made for its own channel and MLB is doing a good job on the programming.

I don't think I watched a single game in standard definition last year...

and I was in Iowa for most of the season.
