I don't care what anyone thinks, I'm glad to have Podsednik back...
compared to our other options, and attempts with BA, Owens, and Wise. I don’t think he’s going to steal 50 bases, but he should be a boost to the team total without a doubt. Injuries are what kept him from producing, and if he’s as healthy as he say’s, then maybe he can get back to ’05 form.
Should he be our lead-off guy? No, I think Getz has filled in the role nicely. But have him bat 8th with Alexi behind, and all of a sudden you have a lot of speed going 8-9-1 and perhaps give Fields more chances to drive in run’s, or further set up Q!.
