White Sox Opponents' Run Distribution
To be taken in context with Cheat's graph of the offensive output of the White Sox, this graph gives an idea of how the pitching staff is doing.
In around 50% of the games, the opponents are scoring 3 runs or less. I take this as a good sign.
Also, I took the liberty to separate out starts by Contreras, seeing as he's struggled this year. You can see that the percentage of 9 and 10+ run scoring games is reduced and well over 50% of the games started by the other members of the rotation result in opponents scoring 3 runs or less.

Thanks for finally contributing something useful to the site.
I’m still waiting for my opportunity to do the same.
:)
I like to spell my racial slurs correctly. Otherwise, I may come across as ignorant.
Your link is good -- It shows the Sox have won exactly one game in which they've allowed more than 3 runs
/heart beating very fast…not sure how to handle compliment

At least we got those one-run-allowed and shut-outs under control. Smooooov sailing.

We have scored in the first inning in 4 games this year.
That’s … well, that’s just awful.

Especially measured against 2005 - granted, a record-breaking outlier.
But we had the lead for something like 35 games in a row, ususally by scoring early. Hard to do when your #2 hitter is not hitting his weight + age + IQ.
We’re a pack of a-holes.
