IF there was a blog called SoxMachine...
Run by someone who MIGHT be named Jim, what would you like to see changed/added/deleted from that site?
Inquiring minds want to know. Unless I imagined this whole thing.

Ask and ye shall receive.
Jim rarely solicits feedback. Good to see folks care a lot.

sucks that you need to sign up to post comments there
I know, it prevents stupid “anonymous” posters, but still there are other solutions. Not sure if anyone has suggested it to him, but for the next site upgrade he should consider incorporating OpenID as authentication mechanism, as an option.
Lupe, release the balloons!
Next site will have OpenID, although I haven't tested it to see if it works yet
But I prefer registration. If they don’t want to take 10 seconds to create a username and password — I don’t even have an email verification step — then it’s highly likely that their comment isn’t going to be worth reading.
See: the comments at the bottom of every newspaper article.
EVERYBODY PICK US FOR 3RD OR 4TH SO I DINK WE DOIN POOTY GOO
Sox Machine
I guess you are right
I can see bunch of “White sox ruleezzz!” comments or “you sux” crap coming on board and that wouldn’t be cool.
I guess you keep on doing what you are doing and we will continue on pretending that soxmachine.com is available domain name and can be used to start a cool white sox blog anytime.
Lupe, release the balloons!
"I would like to also give kudos to my fellow Sox fans as I enjoy reading their comments and they keep it clean and insightful. And it doesn't turn into a CF of comments that don't make any sense like SSS."
These events have me frightened and on the verge of evacuating my bowels.
