What? Isn't Rob Mackowiak available?
We’re becoming like the Knicks. They wanted to play 5 point guards under Isiah Thomas and apparently we want to field nothing but secondbasemen.
Surely, one of the aging veteran free agents can be had for a song to fill that gap for a spell, right? Even Jim Edmonds would help for a season that’s going nowhere – decent OBP and some power left. And think of the fireworks between Oz and Edmonds. One clubhouse fight would make this season a little more fun.
At least make it entertaining as this team goes down in geriatric flames…
