Danks will now pitch Wednesday's game, with Gavin Floyd (4-5, 4.94 ERA) going on Thursday for the White Sox, pushing back the scheduled start of Jose Contreras.

For the Cubs, Ryan Dempster (4-3, 3.87 ERA) will now oppose Danks on Wednesday, with Zambrano set to pitch on Thursday against Floyd.

Tuesday’s Cubs-White Sox game was rained out at Wrigley Field with no makeup date set, although the teams only have games here the next two days and are not expected to play a doubleheader then.

The game could be made up in September. Both teams have open dates on Sept. 3 and Sept. 10, with the first being the more likely option.

The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.

Nice of them to open up the Wrigley Bar last night

and hose Sox fans for a few rounds of $6.50 beers.

They should have left it open...I'm sure a majority of the Cubs fans would have stayed.

They usually prosper in bad weather.
