Brandon Allen Promoted to AAA Charlotte; Jordan Danks to the Birmingham DL
The injury to Danks is likely the hand/wrist injury he suffered on a HBP a few games back. Daniel Hudson, Christian Marrero and Lee Cruz promoted to Birmingham. Brian Omogrosso's promotion to Charlotte is also confirmed. Winston-Salem gets Tyler Kuhn, Justin Edwards and Seth Loman. Update on Kannapolis: Kenny Williams Jr. back off the DL. Luis Sierra and Murillo Gouvea join from extended spring training.

pitching schedule?
like ETA? or pitch on the same day for their respective teams?
and i thought Edwards was young enough that they’d give him some time to settle in.

as in . . .
conveniently filling Hudson’s spot in the W-S rotation

they'll be able to rejigger the rotations after the all star breaks next week.
and i’d expect carter to be in W-S for that.

Wow. Serious activity.
Thanks for keeping it up to date. I feel very informed and not surprised by any of this, as you’ve been all over these guys’ progress.

Guillen says Rodriguez the better 'Pudge'
Manager Ozzie Guillen was a teammate of Carlton “Pudge” Fisk but says Houston catcher Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez is better than the Sox’s Hall of Famer.
“I think the young Pudge can do more stuff than Fisk,” Guillen said Wednesday, one day after Rodriguez tied Fisk for most career games caught by a catcher (2,226). "I played with [Fisk] for 10 years, and I’ve only known Rodriguez for a few, playing against each other and coaching him. But [Rodriguez] broke the record for a reason.
“I’m having trouble with some genius in baseball when I say Pudge Rodriguez is the best player to ever come from Puerto Rico. When you catch every day, you have to be strong mentally and physically.”
The “genius” he was referring to was Joe Morgan, whom he argued with in 2008 at Detroit.

Not to pile on Hawks today but...
Was it or was it not Hawk Harrelson as GM that made Fisk play LF for half a season?

I want a do-over
first the late game shit sandwich, then an infant screaming all night so I had to step up and do the feeding/diapering from 2am on so Mom could get some Z’s.
