the underdog is a favorite of mine as well
I just got a copy of The Spirit of Apollo by N.A.S.A. It’s got some really cool guest rappers/singers (Kanye, Ghostface, RZA, ODB, Karen O, Meth, Tom Waits, Chuck D) and is pretty entertaining. The track “Way Down” is where yesterday’s song reference in title came from.

my folks will be in town this weekend to, so i’m going to miss her in concert ;(

yes. really!
it says 2007, colin rec’d it then, I just got around it
that’s very quick for me!
The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.
My favorite albums so far this year:
Thee Oh Sees – Help (it’s my avatar!)
The Strange Boys – Strange Boys and Girls Club
Woods – Songs of Shame
Obits – I Blame You
Also notable: Dirty Projectors, Here We Go Magic, Beirut (I like the new release more than his other stuff I’ve heard), These Are Powers, and Grizzly Bear (which I’m finally starting to enjoy more).

MEH.
I’m guess you’re insinuating something by this comment but I will reply seriously. I didn’t really care for the Animal Collective album. I don’t like the electronic turn they’ve taken. I still occasionally play Feels and Sung Tongs and enjoy them so much more than the last two albums.

I'm not the worl'ds biggest fan of Merriweather
but it’s the best I’ve heard this year. Strawberry Jam is my favorite, but I will agree that the slightly more organic sounds of those two do have an appeal.
Lurking since 2006
Tom Waits is a rapper? WTF.

that's quite the reply button fail. nicely done, sir.
These events have me frightened and on the verge of evacuating my bowels.

timely, Wiz.
still a good album though. i actually have it on vinyl. i haven’t listened to anything released in ‘09 for a while. i’ve been mostly going through old CDs, trying to listen to stuff i haven’t in a while.
Hum is still a great band.
THIS STORY ONLY ENDS ONE WAY

Really?? You and hoodie must share taste in men. I mean women.

I think it's funny to picture them as completely different characters. One is Big and one is Hairy. But neither are both.
