OT: ESPN Wins Premier League Rights
Pretty big news... Setanta is in financial trouble (I'm fairly certain they completely missed making their last payment to the Premier League altogether) and their rights to air games were revoked. Kudos to ESPN for jumping on this.

So this is geared for ESPN's international 'branch', then?
I read this:
“ESPN, the US sports broadcaster owned by Disney, has won the rights to screen 46 live Premier League matches next season which were formerly held by Setanta.”
and thought they meant in the U.S. Argh – dissappointment.

Setanta was awful
Such terrible value for money and I’m sure ESPN will be exactly the same :(
