Do You Think Hawk Was Suspended?

Last Friday *Mark Gonzales noted* that Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson would not be announcing the game in order to attend to a family matter. My question is do you believe this explanation or do you think he was told to grab some bench due to his excessive whining about the umpires? Also, whether you think he was suspended or not, have you noticed a distinct change in his demeanor since then or am I just crazy?

Like I said last night.. a medical emergency in the family can make a baseball game seem a lot less important to the guy too. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t given a talking to, but it could be more than one thing that led to a calmer Hawk.

Naturally, we can only speculate. But "suspension" seems like a harsh term...if anything, he probably just had a talking-to where they advised him to take a day off to regroup or something....
Or it could really be a family emergency and like GiT says, it put the game into perspective for Hawk.
Who knows.
He is definitely cheerier and calmer since then….whatever happened.
Just [expletive] Fuck It.

Can't say I remember that one,
so I searched “davenport”. Went to “Stories” and clicked on the first one (3rd base). No TAEG, but good times re: clowns and some poster named Toonderstrook (or am I being redundant?).
