i pride myself on being one of the first people to complain about crap umpiring. i didn’t think miller was that bad. off the top of my head i only remember the strike 3 call on beckham and the last pitch to getz as being bad.
brian anderson would've caught that...

i was at a bar watching the beckham call. that was clearly erroneous. seemed to be a pretty clear concensus at the bar.

OK....I actually think this Norris Hopper could be a really solid
“under the radar” acquisition. Obviously Corky Miller is useless…….I don’t know a ton about Hopper but his combined 2006-2007 numbers were impressive….high OBP…and he can run a little. I don’t know anything about his defense……struggled a bit this year in the minors and apparently has some character issues….but when all you are giving up is Corky Miller—-why not?
I doubt hell be an improvement over BA though.
Unless he goes all Pods on us.
