The White Sox have not had a great deal of success recently with their top draft picks. Josh Fields was drafted with the 18th pick in 2004. Lance Broadway was drafted with the 15th pick in 2005. Neither have had much success in the big leagues, with Fields now relegated to a bench role as Paul Konerko's fill-in and Broadway shipped out and not yet maintaining a major league roster spot for any sustained period.
