The Cheat Takes a Sabbatical

I haven't really posted anything since Thursday or Friday, and tomorrow afternoon I'm leaving town for 10 days -- will be without internet and such for most of it. So it looks like I'll be on a 2 week + hiatus.

Good news is the Sox normally go on a roll when I'm gone. And I'm not so close to the trade deadline this year. Bad news is you guys gotta handle the recaps and such on your own.

Cheat, some advice for your rehab stint:

Get absolutely loaded right before you go in, so you can deal with the first half day bullshit.

Act like a hard ass for the first day or so, and then, when there’s a private or small group session on day 3, flip the fuck out. They’ll think that their methods are actually working on you and, as a bonus, that’ll get you a bit of time where you can get high again.

Then, find Jesus. Trust me on this one. Get very religious because they’ll think that you’re just transferring your addiction from drugs to religion and you’ll be able to coast through the last week or so.

That is, unless this is a voluntary rehab stint. In that case, you’re one sick puppy.

At any rate, the rest of us will still be here with plenty of cargo for when you get back. It’ll be a celebration, bitches!
