OT - Hey guys, do me a favor, take 30 seconds, click the link and vote for "Sarah O"

http://nyknickscitydancers.com/polls/pollid/1.aspx

I know Chicagoans can stuff a ballot box. In the group photo, she’s in the back, middle, in the black/white striped shirt.
Sorry for leading off the thread w/ this…don’t SSH me, bro!

Go Sox!

the eyes are the only thing worth their weight at this point

minorleaguesplits.com has minor league defense numbers though, and it’s obvious Nix is a very good defender, as per his scouting report. and the pop is there. i don’t know how well he can hit against RHP regularly, which is presumably why Getz got the nod.

I guess you're right...

Linebrink’s overall numbers belie how much faith one should have in him.

Not only that...

But he’s had control issues this year, something he hasn’t really had in the past.

He also has some bad appearances in high-leverage situations.

I guess that’s what tends to happen to 30-something relievers.

If a DP run counted as an RBI

AJ would have 85 each year.

We’re a pack of a-holes.

when he walks or just has to be on base?

it’s easy if it’s the latter. runs scored – hr = non hr runs scored.

You guys complain about Hawk repeating himself

But Steve mentions almost daily now that the Orioles need to deal Aubrey Huff and George Sherill

Gobble in sandwich is bland and makes me sleepy

Gobble on my TV, however, always makes it interesting

Anybody else think it might behoove us to give Nix more ABs at 2B?

Or is there some glaring weakness that will be exposed with more regular usage? I just really like his power.

He's been somewhat protected against RHP.

There’s not enough of a sample to say he can’t hit them, but so far this year he’s been better against lefties.
