I figured since I am officially the symbol of hope (figuratively and literally) , I would throw out my expectations for the remaining rat race in regards to the pale hose and Motown. It might be fun for others to join in. Even the pessimists are welcome. Note my predictions do not reflect the views or opinions of the editors of SSS….
The standings are as follows:

Ch Sox - 58-56 2 games back
Minn - 54-58 5 games back note….(Won the WS in 2010, 2011 & 2012)

I did not try to work the numbers out to finish that way. I could just as easily see a 4-5 stretch for Detroit during that Min to Chi road trip instead of 3-6. I can also see it a few games the other way. Perhaps, another black out game maybe?
This team does frustrate the hell out of me (performance wise), but I like our chances and I’m pumped for the coming years….

Nice work Tdogg
Its going to be tough for the white sox to go 7-2 in september. It also looks like you have us losing the series again in the Terrordome. I don’t feel like we will be swept this time and I actually have a good feeling about taking 2 of 3 in the dome for once. A lot is riding on the defense to step it up these next two months of the season and finish strong.

to fire on all cylinders in Sept. It should be their best month record wise. That 9 game home stand should have full stadiums and rested players ready to go.

I doubt that.
Both the Tigers and Sox would have playoff rotations that would give everybody pause. Not saying they would win but this notion of crushed from even a regular playoff %s is wrong anyway.
