I went to one of the games against the Angels a couple weeks ago. I was sitting in the bleachers and the section next to mine tried to get the wave started. NOBODY in my section stood up, and people started yelling stuff like, “We don’t do that here!” and “Go back to Wrigley!” It was awesome.

It's hard to get equal value
He’s making $1m/ year through his prime, and the Sox have him for two arb years beyond that, when most guys that age are hitting FA.
That’s a pittance for average production from a premium position, but I don’t think average production yields a large return in trades.
