Nothing memorable from the past few days as far as cash games go, and by that I mean I didn’t win or lose big. I also played last night’s Midnight Madness — finished decent but didn’t cash (something like 350 out of 2500+). I have my chat turned off so if you said hello and I didn’t respond, my apologies.

those streaks are rather tough to take — sometimes they force me away from online (poker) for weeks at a time. The one thing that the cynic in me is not particularly partial to (re: FTP) is that the “pros” have their names in red. Seems much too easy for corruption to happen (i.e. better cards and better flops for the folks in red). Then again, if it ever leaked that they were messing with the game like that, they’d lose all credibility and (I suspect) would go out of business, so…

If there was anything good that came of last year’s 3-9 debacle and the Applalachian State mess of Carr’s last year in 2007, it’s that the Michigan fan base will no longer take good football for granted. That stadium was electric and LOUD Saturday, and that’s the first time I ever had to stand the entire game – even back in the day in the student section you chilled and relaxed at the games, maybe got a little rowdy in the 4th quarter of a tight game. Clausen had to call about 4 timeouts because he couldn’t communicate, I can’t remember the last time that happened in Michigan Stadium.
