my dad had this experience in nam. he barely missed this helicopter flight, and that helicopter flight ended up getting shot down.

went to eat at Zafferanos, one of London’s best Italians, we had about 6 bottles of this amazing White Wine, easily the best I’ve had in years, it cost around £50 a bottle, but was well worth it.

Mark was once a good pitcher idk what happend to him after the cubs lit him up at that piss smelling dump on the northside but he hasnt been the same since then (has thrown a perfect game and a no hitter) in that time but really has struggled keeping any team off the scoreboard.

shoulda kept Uribe... he's a fucking BEAST.
September line of .357/.408/.643 with 5 homers and 15 knocked in.
Those aren’t including tonights 2-3 with a double, homer and 3 RBI.
Uribe was always a favorite of mine and I think he was treated a tad unfairly by the fans. I wish he was at 3rd with Beckham at 2nd for us.

But he had 3 years in a row of an OPS under .700. And of course that doesn’t fully convey how bad his OBP was.
It’s ridiculous to suggest that Williams should have known Juan would OPS over .800 this season and so decided to keep him. Same damn thing with Aardsma whom the Red Sox let go as well. And their freaking geniuses, so who can blame KW for the same mistake.
On the other hand, if you want to blame Walker for Uribe that’s fine with me.

If you knew nothing about the happenings of this season and just looked at the career stats for the guys in that pen,
you would have to asume this is one of THE best pens in baseball. But as of coarse things didnt happen as they should have and this pen is very mediocre, sob.

Man – I hate when the Sox play in a dome… they just can’t win. This Twins team is so designed for dome and artificial turf play. Just wait till next year when they are outdoors and on grass!
