No I just got home from the ER with them.

She was coming home on the school bus and she wasn’t sitting in her seat right. Bus hit a bump, she went flying, and she gouged the back of her head on a screw that secures the seat to the bus. She had to get a staple to close the wound.

I did get into trouble earlier

I was sat in a booth earlier doing some work and this family came in mom and dad and young extremely voluptuous daughter and sat in the seats opposite. On a sidenote my wife met Mrs Jake Peavy today (son was wearing a Sox shirt here in San Diego) and she was very nice (she’s from Alabama afterall). Wife mentioned we have met Ozzie and asked her the same. She said Ozzie was “quite a character”. Probably not too many Ozzie’s in Bama.

Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to do what I do, without getting into too much detail it involved telling a 13 year old that his parents and relatives want nothing to do with him and I have to move him to a group home in Aurora. He then went into a severe shock.. literally, like could hardly walk. One of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life.

Finally - I was at a winner!!!! Seems like a month since I last saw one.

Peavy looked awesome – Thank you Inge for blowing that play and allowing GB to bat. (Though at that point I figured if they are going to lose – make it a no-hitter). Fireworks sucked – mist kept the smoke in place, which in turn blocked the fireworks, and in fact 2 of the park towers too.
