The high point of the season was 5 games over .500.
The only reason they were in contention is because the Sox play in the worst division in the AL.

Why is that conrary to what I said?
I never stated Pods was good. Obviously he couldn’t have had the affect that he had if he were in a good division, but that only proves my point. We were bad against bad teams and Pods made us better.
