According to Fox Sports (and per MLBtraderumors.com) the White Sox are bidding on Johnny Damon.  Also according to MLBTR the Tigers owner has ok'd a 2 yr/14mil offer for Damon.  I've been hoping that the Sox would make a run at Damon as he fits their model for this year's DH (play multiple positions and can run a little).  If Tigers are truly offering a 2 yr deal, I can't see KW going that high in $$ and the 2nd year might be a hangup.   But one never knows, do one?

Damon would be a HUGE upgrade over anyone in house as well as a more productive player than Thome/Dye in that same role.  And he offers OF protection when/if Q! get hurts (as usual).
