So, I'm not holding out any hope for Damon or any other free agent signings at this point.  I've instead developed a theory that Kenny and Ozzie are going to try Viciedo at DH throughout spring training and hope it sticks. Andruw Jones and Kotsay are merely insurance policies for this plan.  In short, Kenny gave Viciedo a lot of money to come to the Sox, he was hyped to be MLB ready ala Alexi, or maybe needing one season in the minors last year. If he breaks camp with the team as the DH, he can learn 1B from Konerko and switch with him as he picks it up.  I like this theory as it allows me to see Kenny as betting on an investment rather than handing his mind and his ball sack to Ozzie for this season.
