It's spring training, time to work on your Wire references . HBO has The Wire On Demand right now starting with Season 1, Episode 1. For those who've been too cheap to buy the DVD, or too stupid/righteous to download the torrentz nowz your chantz.
As riveting as the hours leading up Jim Thome's signing with the Twins. As compelling as Frank Thomas's retirement announcement.
I haven't seen it for a few years, I might actually try to watch from A - Z. There's nothing else on TV drawing my interest right now. Mad Men has also been rotating through from Season 1 again.

"you gonna need some day of the jackal motherfucker for that"
will pick up the box set when i’m back in the states for a visit
avon is one of my favorite characters. even though he was a killer pushing poison in the community, the writing and the acting brought out a likeable human quality in him. i mean, how could you not root for him over marlo?

Just finished Season 1
You know who I’d forgotten all about? Orlando – loved this character. He didn’t have a lot of scenes but he was great

First time I've heard of it referred to as boring - confusing, ok
I’m assuming you gave up because you couldn’t keep track of the characters. Reading War and Peace the first time will do the same thing.
But there’s always Jersey Shore.

oh, snap!
The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.
White Sox news, Minor Leagues updates and more
take that back!
Jersey Shore is like watching 9/11 all over again, minus anything we learned from 9/11.

I will definitely give it another shot before my demise.
I just thought it got too wordy without enough black on black crime. If you guys say it’s good it must be. Plus, I need to finish the final season of Lost before I can think of getting into any new series. I noticed “The Corner” via on-demand came out in ’99 and is set in the Baltimore hood. Interesting.
