So I've an old High School acquaintance who has gone on to do much more prominent things with his life than I... Well, okay, maybe not so much, seeing as he is some kind of reporter for one of those Chicago media places... regardless.
He recently sent out a message to all us old SouthSide folks he knows still on facebook about a piece he is working on. The topic of that message was this-
What's Best About U.S. Cellular?
I asked him if he'd be interested in hearing what the goobers here had to say about this, and warned him that he'd have to filter out about
50% 80% 90% of the responses as way inappropriate. He said he'd still be interested... So here is the message he sent out-
Fellow Sox fans, I'm working on a project for work about the best things about U.S. Cellular Field and I'm looking for the opinions of some fellow White Sox fans.
Anything from what you think are the best seats for the money, the best food, the best regular giveaways/promotions, pretty much anything that makes attending a Sox game in person a great experience.
There are some obvious choices like the exploding scoreboard, tailgating while playing bags in the parking lots, or the "Na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye" chant when the Sox knock out an opposing pitcher.
So if you could drop me a quick note with some of your other favorite features of U.S. Cellular, I'd really appreciate it.
Anyone here feel like chiming in about this- go for it. I'll point him here to check out any responses.
