Cool seeing the Tampa no-no in person.
I never witnessed a no-hitter in person before tonight. Got goose bumps in the 8th, and my client (a Mets fan, poor soul, since the Mets are now the only team to never have thrown a no-hitter in their history) also had the gooseflesh.
One problem – it was in Tampa. Cowbells, and not until the bottom of the 8th was anyone standing, even though no one had any hits through 5 1/2 innings. What a bunch of goddamn stump-jumpers. But it was a fantastic night of baseball. 27 batters faced by Garza, plus a grand slam to boot. How often has THAT happened in one night?

SSS has been able to get a lot of value out of him, but I imagine other sites look at his age and the some of the garbage he’s typing and think that he could be one terrible mistyped post from hanging them up.
