My favorite thing about Cardinals games that go late
is that the dumb intro for the “Cardinals Live” post-game show doesn’t have to fit w/ the traditional “Family Friendly” thing so prominent here in Missouri.
My brother and I still laugh about a game in LA from a few months ago where it went:
“I ain’t saying she’s a gold digger, but she ain’t messing with no broke Cardinals Live”
I literally had to pick my jaw up off the ground after hearing that.
good thing about being in central illinois is we get fox sports midwest for the cardinals
and also get comcast and wgn for sox and cubs. (i don’t care for the cubs)
problem is we don’t get wciu and also get blacked out on mlb for all three teams.

Before I came to Mizzou I thought I would become a Cardinals fan since I naturally hate the Cubs
But then I met too many of their fans in College.
So I adopted the Royals. (not sure how I’ll feel about them if they ever get good though).

I would find an outfield with corn disruptive
plus there is plenty of land around the Ballpark primed for Urban Farming
Not sure about you guys (gals), but I think tonight's bullpen
performance is one of the reasons it’s probably not too hard for KW to sell Jerry on the “let’s go for it” attitude with regard to taking on some salary if need be.
Think Angels 2002…..that was not an incredible starting rotation, but Shields, Krod, Percival were pretty much untouchable.

Plus we all know that the bullpen’s greatness could easily be attributed to the will of Darin Erstad
they should really try to hit the ball in the air and relatively far then.
that team is really awful this year. i don’t understand them blaming the stadium. (and this is coming from someone who gets irritated by (certain aspects of) some stadiums. yankees and astros immediately come to mind)
