Jake Peavy Leaves Game With Strained Lat Muscle
Jake Peavy reacted as though he knew there was something wrong -- something major -- after delivering a pitch in the 2nd inning. It appears, however, that the injury could be relatively minor, a strained right latissimus dorsi (the largest muscle of the back).

They call him Lat.
Lat Masterson.
I have no idea what this means.

what can we expect (assuming this is the injury)
for a return?

I had microscopic tears in my lat dorsi when I was in high school
I came back from the injury within a week, but my back was messed up for the better part of two years since I didnt take any time off from sports and let it fully heal. It didnt hurt that much, it just hurt when I was in specific positions. I am assuming that Peavy just pulled the muscle so it shouldnt be that long, but I would assume they will shut him down until the break.
i dont pretend to be a reporter or anything but didn't he leave during the 2nd inning?
I gangbang so hard, it would bring back curls.

yes
something tells me even the mafia wouldn't call on greg walker if a hit was needed.

does this count as a game thread?

give him 3 weeks or so
Muscle strain, as long as there is no serious tearing, will be sore tonight but heal rather quickly especially with acess to some of the best docs and trainers in the world.
Hopefully he only misses 3 or 4 starts at most, good timing I guess with the all star game plus they won this one, a bonus.
