Carlos Torres Called Up by White Sox

The White Sox called up Carlos Torres to replace the injured Erick Threets in the bullpen. Threets had only recently returned from the DL (with supposed turf toe) to help replace J.J. Putz and Matt Thornton. This time, he hits the DL with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow.
With Torres and Lucas Harrell, the bullpen, which had been a strength for most of the season, looks like it's cementing its status as a weakness. This also leaves Chris Sale as the only left-hander in the bullpen.

You’ve missed the point. Everyone beats the Mariners. So it would not be a surprise that anyone has beaten them. It doesn’t make the Twins good.

He was pitching decently.
Torres is listed as 6’1" and 190 lbs in the Knights’ program. He looks 5’9" 210 lbs

Ohhhhh. That'd be why he looked so pudgy.
And just meh. I saw Torres pitch last year just once, and I could’ve swore he was taller and thinner. And had better stuff. This Adkins dude was a softtosser.
When I checked the probable starts on the Knights and milb website yesterday afternoon it still listed Torres. The shitty PA system at the Castle didn’t help me out either. I had no clue what the guy was saying all game. (and the Knights don’t wear names on their home jerseys)
