Un-respectively? Is that supposed to be humorous as in, they were bad so I’m not respecting them or is the writer being inane and is trying to confuse everyone?

gavin has devasting breaking pitches and with cooper telling him to "get ahead, get ahead" it's a great combo
he’s 9 runs above average with what PitchFX calls his “slider”. regardless of what he’s really throwing it’s a sharp breaking pitch that is deadly late in the count.
Gavin’s peripherals have been good for a couple years now, he’s a legit 115 ERA+ starter that is going to give a team plenty of innings. Kudos to the Sox for finding a way he can excel.
