What to do with Robert "Bobby" Jenks
Before you tell Bobby Jenks to lose some weight, he can tell you he was the closer in the playoffs in 2005. He can also tell you that he has since been our closer, and has done a remarkable job considering that he was a husky nobody that now is a somebody with 173 saves as a member of the Chicago White Sox. The question this offseason is do we non-tender Jenks or accept the 8 digits he might be making in the 2011 season. Personally Jenks isn't worth as much money as he will be paid next year in fact he's not even worth half of it (5,000,000). Is Jenks too much of a figure in our organization to let walk, or do we swallow the money and see how he pans out in 2011. With Chris Sale looming along with Thornton (if resigned) I think that the Sox will end up trading Jenks and if there is no interest in a 30 year old who's stats have been declining since '07, our only option is non-tendering Bobby Jenks. Let's hear what you think will take place this offseason below.

I'm getting tired of 'next year' posts already.

I'm looking forward to to that big 4 game series with Boston.
Well, that a good manageris your opinion. by winningugly
It's too bad he's been as good as he has
Anytime Thornton blows a save next season, people (that group includes Phil Rogers and his old media brethren) will clamor for Sale to to close. Cause everyone knows a closer is more valuable than having Lucas Harrel in the rotation.

Oh. I thought I had just been ignoring it all this time. I didn't realize the button was actually broken.
