"The Washington Post", Thomas Boswell article slams Ozzie Guillen
Sports writer Thomas Boswell has a decent article recapping the various playoff races remaining in today's Sunday sports section. Boswell does not rule out the Sox winning the division, but concludes the Twins have a secret weapon in the race: " the White Sox are still managed by Ozzie Guillen."
This comment does not seem justified to me. Thought my fellow Sox fans may want to let Thomas Boswell know what they think.
Mr. Boswell can be reached at boswell@washpost.com

I think we're in agreement..
Ozzieball sucks. We had Mark Kotsay used as the DH.. I think that says all that needs to be said about our manager.

Really? I think the comment is justified when you compare Gardenhire and Guillen
Gardenhire decided that despite having to play a few games in NL ballparks he would be willing to keep a DH-only player on the roster. Crazy and unconventional, but it’s that kind of thinking that gives the Twins an edge.
I'm very impressed by his realization.
I, myself, thought that Ozzie’s bold strategy of putting together a team built for NL dominance would reap wins upon wins!

"Why won’t anybody give me credit for that one?"
weighing 9 games more than the other 153
great strategy or the greatest strategy?
The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.
White Sox news, Minor Leagues updates and more
Ozzie has few fiends on this site.
However, Tom Boswell is an elitist prick.

Somehow it's working.
WS rings for FOG the past 5 years: 1.
WS rings for FTT the past 5 years: 0.
Record in head-to-head Game 163’s: FOG 1-FTT 0.
Just win, baby.

Well, that a good manageris your opinion,
and you are entitled to it. Guys don’t generally become stupid, or smart, overnight. We have a good manager. He is very familiar to us. Familiarity breeds contempt on SSS.

I hate that my response is fucked up because of a tech jump.
“Well, that is your opinion, and you are entitled to it.” And such.

No I didn't.
My sentences have been jumping around on my e-mails and posts lately – I’m sure I’m hitting some key by mistake. I have seen it happen with others, also.
And fuck you. I take entire responsibility for my mistakes. DTM you are, once and for all.
