While we may be a month away from Pitchers and Catchers reporting, Friday, January 21st is the start of SoxFest 2011.  

This is just a post to see if anyone here is attending either the whole weekend package Friday included or just Sat/Sun individually, and if you'd like to get together for some SSS drinks.  From what I've gathered, we have at least 4 regular SSS folks who are doing the Friday/Hotel package, but I've not really seen any talk about Sat/Sun.  The hours are as follows this year-

SoxFest Hours:
Friday 4:00-9:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

If it is anything like last year, it will be a show.

Individual tickets for Saturday and Sunday are Still available.

So, what say ya folks?  There's been a bit of chatter about trying to do drinks Friday at Miller's Pub.  Should this be the official SSS kick off local?  If so, time-wise, what are we collectively thinking?

To the Sox Machine Transplants and anyone relatively new-  Come out and join the party.  We are fun, and couldn't care less about anything other than the White Sox when we get together (Oprah moving to New York might be an exception this year.)
