Okay, sorry for the delay in this, but everyone is trying to kill me.
If you are somehow just tuning in, we are reading Catch-22 by Joseph Heller.
Here is what I deem to be the consensus. Given the length of the chapters, Shoot for Two-Three chapters a night reading. If we need to adjust this, fine, but it seems like everyone should be able to read 10 chapters every Six to Seven days, even those with babies/real life to tend to. One thread for every for 10 chapters, so yeah, a new thread roughly once a week. People can be slightly behind or slightly ahead within the 10 chapters, and the best thing about the SBNation structure of commenting on things a few days old will work really nice for this. The last thread should coincide with the Thanksgiving holidays, and that can just stay up for another week for those that get sidelined and then we can get started on the next one.
Every Two days I will put in the Thread a new post labeled chapters 1-3,4-7,8-10 etc... which can serve as general kickoff points, and serve as markers for *Spoiler Alerts*
How's that sound? Good? Good. Of course, given the Nature of SSS, I believe any structural guidelines setup will promptly be pissed on by one of us while we are drunk, and you know what? Perfect.
Since I'm putting this up tonight, let's hope that everyone sees it within the next 48hours, and can start up by Thursday. I'm really looking forward to seeing what our gang here can turn this into. I absolutely believe that given the season that we have just been through as White Sox fans, a reading or rereading of this book could possibly be cathartic.
