that was a big signing. shortly after bull luzinski followed suit.

In 1980, Bruce Kimm caught 100 games for the White Sox

While Veeck used Eddie DeBartolo’s money to get Ron LeFlore, signing Carlton Fisk made me realize things would be different under Reinsdorf & Einhorn.

I never imagined Fisk would wind up catching more games for the White Sox than the Red Sox. He was already 33 by the time he signed.
