"All In" Even if you're at home.
Every Comcast subscriber in the Chicago area is buying a Sox "ticket." It doesn't matter if they like the team, or baseball.

I was curious about this, and even went to the effort to comment on a Gawker site (something I rarely do)
I know owning a network is worth way more than the team and any attendance they might have, and actually went and looked up your very history of the White Sox on TV article from last year’s all star break to see if there was any info there. Do you (or anyone else) know more about what the Sox’ deals are with WGN, WCIU, and CSN, and how that money breaks down? It seems especially relevant, what with the all in-ness of the season and attendance discussions.

Internet/MLB.com, baby.
They can afford to be “all-in”. Amazing amounts of cash rolling in.
don't worry you’ve got plenty of time left by the tomb
I am going to check out MLB Network to see if the game is blacked out in Rockford or not
Rockford gets screwed often when it comes to televised games. With Hockey games we are considered outside of the Chicago market, however we are in Hawks Blackout territory when it is on the NHL Network. I complain to WGN and told its the NHL’s fault, the NHL just refuses to reply to my complaint. Its ridiculous considering that we have the AHL team in our city and Rockford is a “Hockey Town” if anything. Same goes for the Bulls, screwed over locally and nationally.
Baseball would be the same with WGN, but its WGN America obviously.
