The Case For Moving The Dodgers Back To Brooklyn
Makes sense to me and I couldn't care less (fewer).
Compelling though.

A cross-country move would be an epic undertaking, but it'd be pretty cool to see.
ESPN would have a field day with this decision.
thanks wu.

i'd like to see it from a romantic point of view,
but la has rights – beyond current location – to the team too. that’s where koufax put together one of the (two – see pedro) best periods of pitching eva.
then there was the 80’s team and tommy lasorda.
that plan would probably work out best for everyone. the rays would love to be in LA.
The only way this happens is if Billy Crystal becomes commissioner of baseball.
The Dodgers are an LA team, as far as I’m concerned.
The Mets are nearly 50 years old? They have fans. They have history. Why do they get the shit end of the stick?
Their ballpark is an exact copy of Ebbets Field.
The guy at the bank doesn't care how many trophies you've got!
uhhhh.
√For the Yankees, it’s likely to be a much tougher sell. But MLB has many more inducements available. In the best interests of the game, Selig can offer to waive the Yankees’ luxury tax payments for a certain number of years. He can provide them with extra draft picks. He could even give them a bye into the playoffs for a predetermined period of time.
