I really would like to see more clubs do this. I would like to get in contact with someone with the White Sox about this. No idea if they would do it, but I could see it.

being a teacher, bullying affects most of the students.

not specifically the gay and lesbian ones. luckily my most bad ass student this year is a kid that wants to be a boxer and will challenge anybody that picks on kids “lesser than him”. i think its just an excuse to fight- but it really has cut down on bullying around my students.

its a tough thing to deal with. if you stand up for the student as the teacher, i think the bullying gets worse. luckily i never had that problem when i was a kid.

i don’t know what the hell happened. where did it all go wrong? probably when i said “i do” without having a steady job and followed that up with taking the first job offered. But its almost summer time so pretty soon it will be more like this….

sounds like the boxing kids parent deserves a punch

everyone is bullied at least a few times. I was lucky and was usually well liked and wasn’t a bully myself. Adolescence is a weird time, and some kids become so insecure that they have to pick on others to compensate. Everyone suffers in that situation. When you add a situation in which a kid is figuring out his/her sexuality/trying to come out of the closest it gets that much more difficult.
