PrintGee, the Twins are having a bit of a setback, proving unable to beat NL teams on the road. That's a shame, but our team is battling their tails off, gosh darn it. You really just have to tip your hat, those boys from SF and WI know how to play!
And Joe Mauer? He isn't hitting right now, he is still recovering. Vacationing for two months with his "Mysterious Injury" and then refusing to do a AAA rehab assignment despite the Twins wanting him to is going to set anyone back, ya know. I try to tell my lutheran bretheren that they need to relax, and notice that our 2 backup catchers on the 25 man are hitting around as well as Mauer. It's like having 3 Joe Mauers! So we are being a bit silly to give one of them $23MM per year.
I mean, batting around the Mendoza line is gosh darn good for a catcher, right? I just feel like my organization is being a little unfair to Drew Butera, he called a no hitter after all!
Anyway thanks for reading my silly little post. You bet I am hoping for a gosh darn Twins/Sox game 163! I hope da best team wins, you know. Hope Buehrle pitches, I just love watching that guy! He is so good at those pickoff moves, you bet I can respect that!

In MN we can admit our faults, y’know!
Normally I’d wish my AL central brothers luck in interleague play, but in MN we have a soft spot for the Nats. We want them to succeed so we gave up our best catching prospect.
It worked out fine, since our other backups are hitting just as good as JOE MAUER this year. But obviously I miss AJ’s fire, he made the game fun.

Like my role model Joe Mauer it is unacceptable to show emotion. I thank my dad every day for beating me whenever I would get overly emotional as a child. We’re pasty white Midwesterners of Northern European background, and getting too excited about stuff is in bad taste.
