I don't know where to start
Hey SSS. I know some of the people around here remember me for pointless posting when I was a weebit younger and always getting into arguements with U-God and Larry. I remember Winningugly and Hoodlight always being the good guys. I have been reading around and finally decided to start posting again. Well to get to the point, I have started working for the Chicago White Sox, and thought you guys might like to ask me questions about the way things work here and maybe I might see some of you all around at the park. Any of the editors can feel free to delete this if it doesn't fit for a fanpost. Please excuse me if this is not appropriate for SSS or a useless post.
So shoot, ask me any questions about working for the ChiSox or what sections you guys sit in, maybe I will see y'all around. (I think I may have met someone that fits my idea of who Winningugly may be that was sitting up in the 500's.)

Mr. Representative - Teach Ballpark Etiquite
At what point do the ushers start controlling people from going up and down the aisle during the inning. Does anyone watch the game or are they just worried about their next churro? Please do your job and explain to people that they should wait for a break in the action before going back to their seat. You can be a game changer young man!! Make it happen
Haha
I have actually gotten complaints from people about other people walking around during the game. I would say its about 50% people texting, 25% people smoking, 20% going to get something to eat or drink, and 5% actually there to watch the game.
Make a difference in what you do
In the old days we were taught to wait for a break in action; that does not exist in todays world. Talk to your boss and mention this. Anything that can be done to at least remind people about this very respectful issue at the park would be appreciated by many. Good luck in your new job and enjoy the season.
Thank you.
I always talk to the people about baseball, but only the season ticket holders really enjoy talking about the players and things like statistics.
why does this keep happening to me?

you're a meme machine.
Some people get so rich they lose all respect for humanity. That's how rich I want to be.
i have many phrases that i hear and like that i then use, often irregardless of context, with sometimes troubling frequency. sometimes they seem to work, other times people don't seem to care. and other times people seem to become unhappy.
in any case, this particular favorite of mine was uttered by patrick star in the episode “wormy”.

would never have pegged you as an irregardless guy.

the irregardless
was ironical.

Ooh! Ooh! I have a question!
I assume you get tipped for beer sales when you walk up and down the 100 level aisles. Do you make any extra money in the 500 level? I wouldn’t think so, but never hurts to “ask the expert”.
Beware the cure isn't worse than the disease
I don't sell beer
Not 21 yet. No need to be condescending. One of the guys that sells beer there tells me he makes about $200 a game in tips though.

you've found an admirer!

Admit it. No really ever wins the 50/50 do they?
Don’t they just pocket the money?
Do you get Sox trivia questions in advance?
How do I get the camera man to focus on me dancing in between breaks?
Can you get me a Chevy teeshirt? Or at least a date with one of the chicks?
Does anyone joy ride the automobile before they let the fans in?
Ever seen Kenny, Ozzie, Joey or Harold run the bases for old time sake.
Speaking of Harold does he talk?
Gosh I have so many questions!

In chronological order
I’ve never seen anyone win the 50/50. Its easy money for the Sox.
I say take off your shirt and run at him.
I’ll put in a good word for ya.
Just the grounds crew.
Joey is always in the outfield shagging flyballs and sometimes I talk to him in spanish. Harold just waves. Ozzie always is in a bad mood, its like he has a kidney stone or something.
Just shoot.

what do you spend them on?

If I slipped you a dime would you point out some empty premium boxes and turn your head?
How can we tell which ushers are on the take?
What I do
is if it’s past the ninth, and people are polite, I let them move into empty seats. Unfortunately I have only worked in the 500 level.
"past the ninth"?
I love seasons too. That's why I live in a place that skips the shitty ones.

Has anyone offered to trade seats for sex?
Women, I mean. And, if so, has it worked.
Also, I enjoy being lumped in with the hooligan that is hoodie.
Not a bad angle.
I’d think the quality of the quiff would be directly proportional to the value of the seats. 500 level gets a handy from a crack whore and the scout seats get you a Playboy centerfold.
I give the kid props for being willing to come back and try to be civil after being so roundly pummeled in previous instances.

Well Thanks
As I said though, Winningugly and Hoodlight always seemed to make the stuff better while U-God and Larry, mostly U-God, were monstrous dickheads.

you shouldn't hold grudges against people
i don’t think it’s a good idea calling two of the editors ‘dickheads’ if you want your future fanposts to be treated seriously.
You mention you like to talk to some fans about statistics – have you done some studying yet on advanced baseball stats? If you don’t know or don’t understand something then ask, better than pretending you know.
Also how is your Baseball going, do you still play?
I remember Winningugly and Hoodlight always being the good guys.
by hoodlight on Jun 29, 2011 4:09 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions
I am just recalling what happened. I do not hold any grudges
Still learning them a bit, a little confused on some of the fielding ones.
Yea still playing, didn’t try out for travel this year though.
Do you treat Twins fans with respect?
Do you want to know the terrifying truth, or do you want to see me sock a few dingers?
