Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

Adam Dunn is hitting .165. He's 55-for-334 (including a remarkable 3-for-78 against lefties) and is about to reach 400 plate appearances. How rare is this? Since 1920, only 33 players have had 400 plate appearances and hit under .200 -- "led" by Dal Maxvill's .175 mark for the 1969 Cardinals. Carlos Pena and Mark Reynolds both achieved this dubious accomplishment last season.

Two funny comments:

(well, one funny one one smack yourself in the forehead one:)

“Ok Will Ferrell, the joke has gone on long enough. You and Adam Dunn can switch back now.”
“Imagine where the Tigers would be if they signed Dunn and the Sox signed Vmart. Detroit would be 7 games out of first and Cleveland would not be at the top.”

ESPN has a strict one Sox policy

Also, they probably needed the space that a White Sox blog would have taken up for multiple Red Sox blogs.

Jim really broke ESPN's heart.

ESPN needs some time alone, to get in touch with its feelings.

Maybe a few months down the road they’ll put on some eyeliner and hit the club and just DANCE with the go network, but right now it still hurts too much, and feels like nothing in the world will make it better except more yankees/red sox coverage.

I love seasons too. That's why I live in a place that skips the shitty ones.

FDAFESPNITA.

I just pulled my last funds from them today. And I’m glad their stock got clocked today.
