A nation turns it's lonely eyes to Rios.

Kukuajoo.

Trying to score runs with Juan Pierre as your leadoff hitter is like trying to suture a wound in a moving car. You might still be successful -- but why make it so hard on yourself?

fuck rios.

This is likely the last game I see this season. Movie tomorrow, night games next week.

Can’t say it’s been fun but I’ll miss it.

Huh. I thought it was 89 wins, but that may have been a very early projection.

Thx.

On that home run, the crowd was really giving Rios the business as he rounded third.

They were still jeering him after he touched the plate and trotted toward the dugout.
When he mockingly doffed his hat at the stands, you could see that he was wearing a Donald Trump hairpiece under his cap:

In the stunned silence that followed, you could hear Rios scream at the fans to “go pound sterling.” Clearly.

It was fantastic.

I prefer Melky on the basepaths over Melky at the plate.
