BMO 2038 and 2039- The Rookies are Coming!

Stay connected for news and updates

It's the middle of 2038 and we have one of the best rookie classes we've had in a while. The RoY race is heating up now that June is over.

In terms of the standings, there's no doubt that Kansas City is royalty right now and is 15.5 games up on Minnesota (and 7.5 games over the next division leader). Boston holds a half game lead over Tampa, and Los Angles has a 2 game lead over Oakland.

Oakland leads the Wild Card race with Tampa Bay, New York, Minnesota, and Detroit are all within single digits.

Here are your RoY candidates.

Koski, KCR, 2B
.294/.369/.363, 11 2B, 25 RBI, 8% Range, 2.71WAR
Koski definitely knows how to swing the bat. He should have a long career as a major league second baseman.

Platt, MIN, RF
.280/.345./.386, 20 2B, 28 RBI, +/- 0% Range, 2.74 WAR
Give Garret a chance to show you what he can do. I think you'll like what you see. Platt is lonely. He'd rather be playing for the Blue Jays.

Alexander, TEX, DH
.241/.343/.375, 7 HR, 28 RBI, 1.54 WAR
Kurtis is one of the most talented third basemen to come through the stRangers organization in a long time.

Sweeney, CHW, 1B
.222/.298/.363, 7 HR, 25 RBI,-6% Range, 1.18 WAR
Sweeney excels in most areas. He could be an All Star some day.

Sergeant, BAL, 1B
.238/.314/.313, 8 2B, 25 RBI, -3% Range, 1.14 WAR
He'll have his ups and downs, but Sergeant is definitely talented. Matthew won't renew with Baltimore unless they commit themselves to winning.

Stovell, TBD, CF
.220/.302/.319, 19 2B, 32 RBI, -2% Range, 1.70 WAR
Stovall excels in most areas. He could be an All Star some day.

We still have 3 very good teams (including Detroit, 7 games out in the Wild Card) available if you're interested in joining us!
