After having read more than enough complaining about them both here and on other SBN sites, I decided to ask Brooks Boyer if we would be seeing these same ads during the regular season. There's something pretty fantastic about getting a response back the next day from the head of White Sox marketing. Brooks own words:
What you saw during the spring training broadcasts (thanks for watching) will only be seen in the digital space, typically pre-rolls to online videos. We thought we would put the guys to work to deliver the messages. These will not be broadcast on TV as those spots will consist of our two spots featuring Robin and then we will be introducing a spot each month from our Poptent crowd sourcing deal.
So there you have it. Don't expect to see very much of them at all in a few days. Best to get all your complaining out of the way while you still can.
